New websites & existing website re-designs
My Approach To Website Projects
Complete website project management & delivery
Technology is changing the way businesses take their products and/or services to market and recent developments in technology have made it easier for SMEs to compete online.
It is vital for SMEs to modernise how they sell their service offering; referrals and occasional direct mail campaigns are no longer enough to thrive in ever-increasingly competitive markets. For many business owners, the first step is to create a new website, or re-design their existing website to ensure it promotes their expertise and USPs, whilst also making it easier for prospective clients to find them, learn about them and contact them.
I understand how difficult it can be for business owners to make their brand stand out; so I ensure that all of my clients’ websites are an accurate reflection of their approach, values and personality.
TC Group (formerly Taylorcocks) approached me with the challenge of building them a new website, as their previous site was outdated and didn’t portray the firm how they wanted it to.
With over 3,000 pages of content on the previous website and only a small portion of it being viewed, one of the main priorities was to drastically reduce the amount of pages and content on the site, without losing the ability to present TC Group’s full spread of services.
The new website has received excellent feedback from TC Group’s clients and has performed well organically in the first few months so far.
Premsafe is a roof safety company specialising in the design, supply, installation and testing of fall protection systems for commercial and industrial roofs.
I worked very closely with Premsafe on various elements of their marketing strategy and took over the redesign of their website from an agency which was struggling to deliver on what they wanted to achieve. This involved a significant amount of research, content writing and design tweaks which ultimately resulted in a much more professional look and feel as a more accurate presentation of their comprehensive capabilities.
Ascendis – a leading firm of chartered accountants and business advisers in Manchester – approached me to redesign & develop their website, after realising their previous website did not accurately reflect their size, approach or service offering.
Due to their service offering being so broad and deep, one of the main challenges was to ensure that all the relevant services they provide were promoted on the website, without making the site too complicated or crowded with content and links.
I managed to turn a text-heavy, dated site into a visually-pleasing representation of their excellent firm.
