Case Study: Premsafe
Premsafe is a roof safety company based in Hampshire, with other offices across the UK. Premsafe specialises in designing, supplying, installing and testing fall protection systems for commercial and industrial roofs.
Due to the appointment of a Director with considerable sales experience, Premsafe achieved impressive growth in the first few years of their inception. However, in order to sustain and improve on initial their growth, Premsafe needed to implement a sustainable, reliable, long-term marketing strategy. That’s where I came in!
As Premsafe’s website was several years old, it was no longer an accurate representation of the company’s brand, capabilities or size and therefore needed to be completely rebuilt. Premsafe initially used a local web design agency to re-build the website, but their failure to invest the time into understanding Premsafe’s objectives and expertise led to Premsafe requesting that I take over the project.
As a result of spending several days going into the finer details of their functionality requirements and design preferences, I started building their new website and within only a couple of weeks, we had a brand new website that correctly positioned the brand and presented their services in the way they wanted it to. Once the website project was complete, I worked closely with the Directors to agree on a long-term marketing strategy based on:
- Their growth objectives
- Previous sales & marketing performance
- SWOT & competitor analyses
- Available budget
The marketing strategy involved defining and implementing:
- Brand & PR strategy
- Lead generation strategy
- Partnership & affiliate strategy
- Marketing & sales processes
- Results tracking & KPIs
Marketing Campaign Management
Once the website and marketing strategy had been finalised and agreed, I then focused my time on planning and managing multi-channel marketing campaigns, designed specifically to help Premsafe achieve their growth objectives. This has so far included:
- Social media marketing
- Content marketing & PR
- Partnership & affiliate marketing
- Email marketing
Within 3 months of working with Premsafe, I had built them a new website, devised a marketing strategy and implemented a number of successful multi-channel marketing campaigns.
In terms of measurable success, within 3 months Premsafe had built up a sales pipeline of over £500k in tenders from new prospects and had over £100k of revenue confirmed from new contracts brought in as direct result of the new marketing strategy.
